2022 NCAA Tournament: Best March Madness Bracket Picks

Winning your bracket isn’t easy. In my previous bracket article, I outlined some basic strategy as well as the statistical criteria that makes it very likely whether or not a team is able to win. But beyond that, there is a whole other aspect of winning your bracket involving game theory. A quick example of that is, if everyone in your bracket pool picked Baylor to win last year, no one would have gained an edge on their opponents by them winning. If everyone picked Gonzaga and only one person picked Baylor, though, that one person would have a massive advantage over the rest of the pool. That’s obviously an extreme example but finding those edges is important. Our friends over at TeamRankings have supplied us with strong projections of which teams will be picked to advance as well as what their model projects. This can help us identify the biggest leverage over the field.
