Especially when looking at three-point shooting production, targeting teams that provide the least resistance to the shots the player you are looking at makes a lot of sense. It can also be as advantageous to look at the context around that opponent because if they are not good at stopping three-point production regardless and they are on a back-to-back, that can accentuate the issues covering shots that may require the most effort to stop.
