Streaming Kickers: Week 8 Targets
Despite most of the fantasy community being anti-kicker, 4for4 is always a safe space for those who still play in leagues that utilize the kicker position. In fact, using kicker to your advantage is a great way to get a leg up on your opponents and gain potential weekly league-winning points.
In Week 7, four out of my five recommendations ended with starting kicker numbers, with the only outlier just shy (K15). Here’s how they finished in fantasy points scored:
- Tyler Bass - 22 (K1)
- Jason Myers - 12 (K6)
- Mike Badgley - 10 (K7)
- Ryan Succop - 9 (K11)
- Cody Parkey - 8 (K15)
So far through seven weeks, 4for4’s optimal streamer has 95 points, translating to fantasy K1 numbers on the season.
In order to provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues. As always, check 4for4’s rankings and our signature Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) metric when making weekly decisions on any position.

Ryan Succop (Buccaneers) @ Giants
A kicker on a team favored by double-digits with the fourth-highest implied total of the week? Sign me up. The Bucs are in New York in Week 8 to face a Giants team ranked 26th in kicker aFPA this season, and they are 10.5-point road favorites. Tampa Bay is projected to put up a hearty 28.75 points in the win.
Succop is the fantasy K10 on the season, and this gift of a matchup should help him climb up a peg or two. Tampa Bay’s kicker is only on 30% of Yahoo! rosters, so scoop him up this week if you can.
