Sunday Night DFS Single-Game Breakdown: Patriots at Ravens

A big AFC showdown takes place on Sunday Night with the undefeated New England Patriots visiting the 5-2 Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots find themselves a modest favorite for the rare time. Can Lamar Jackson get anything going against the vaunted Patriots defense? Will yours truly recommend fading the aforementioned defense at his own peril yet again? Answers to those questions and more in this article. Let's break down the game and see how we can find the edge that might get us at the top of the leaderboards.

Injuries

Marquise Brown may not have his usual workload according to beat writer reports but facing off against the Patriots CB's, he's not one I was going to have a ton of interest in anyway. James White popped up on the injury report at the last minute this week. He is someone I have a ton of interest in if he plays (more so than Sony Michel), but if he is unable to go, you might as well just lock-and-load Rex Burkhead into your lineups. If there are any reports of White being limited, I'd take shots with Burkhead for sure. Keep an eye on the news leading into Sunday Night and adjust your lineups accordingly. Edelman is expected to play and 4for4 is projecting the two TE's to sit with Ben Watson to get the bulk of the TE snaps, but even if LaCosse is able to go, the Patriots just haven't been using their TE's this season. RIP Gronk.

Vegas still expects the defending champions to remain undefeated, but they expect a competitive, relatively low-scoring affair. For the most part that is the probable outcome, but there are a few outliers where this turns into a shootout and/or the Patriots blow the game out and the analysis here includes those outcomes.
