Week 14 at Los Angeles Rams
Davante Adams had another monster game against the Chargers last week, catching eight of his 12 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Adams has 12 touchdowns this season, including three games with multiple scores. He also has double-digit targets in eight games this year, including in each of his last five. He’s incredible and is about as steady as you get in fantasy football.
This week, Adams faces a Rams defense that ranks eighth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Adams is a must-start regardless of matchup and with his target share and talent, he should be considered an elite fantasy option once again.
Week 13 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Davante Adams gained a modest 74 yards on seven receptions last week against the Seahawks. Adams leads the league in targets with 123 this season, and only Travis Kelce has more receiving touchdowns than his 10.
The Chargers have actually been pretty good against wide receivers this year, ranking eighth in aFPA to the position. Still, Adams is so good and gets so many targets and touchdowns, he’s a must-start every week. Despite the matchup, we have him ranked as an elite option once again.
Week 12 at Seattle Seahawks
Davante Adams had a huge day against the Broncos last week, catching seven of his 13 targets for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the walk-off score in overtime. Adams has double-digit targets in three straight games and now has 10 touchdowns on the season.
This week, Adams faces a stout Seattle defense that ranks fifth in aFPA to opposing wide receivers behind talented youth in their secondary. Adams is a must-start regardless of matchup, so fantasy managers should keep him active. His targets should keep him in WR1 territory.
Week 11 at Denver Broncos
Davante Adams had a great game last week against the Colts, catching nine of his 14 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown. Adams has two straight games with double-digit targets and now has eight touchdowns on the year. He remains the focal point of the Las Vegas passing game and an elite option for fantasy managers to plug into lineups on a weekly basis.
This week, Adams has a tough matchup against a Denver defense that ranks first in the league in aFPA to wide receivers. Adams is a must-start regardless of matchup, but given the tough task ahead of him, we have him ranked outside our top-five options. Temper expectations, but still expect WR1 numbers.
Week 10 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Davante Adams rebounded nicely after a dismal game against the Saints in Week 8. He had 10 catches, 146 yards, and two touchdowns on 17 targets in a loss to the Jaguars last Sunday, bringing his season touchdown total up to seven.
This week, Adams has a tough matchup against a Colts defense that ranks second in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Still, Indianapolis is trending backwards as a team and Adams is so good, he’s still an elite option regardless of the matchup. We have him ranked just outside our top five wide receivers this week and he should be active in all league formats.
Week 9 at Jacksonville Jaguars
Davante Adams was dismal last week, catching just one of his five targets for three yards as the Raiders were shut out by the Saints. Fantasy managers shouldn’t worry, however, as it was Adams’ first truly poor showing this season and the offense can’t possible be this bad again.
This week, Adams gets a nice matchup against the Jaguars. Jacksonville ranks 20th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, so expect Adams and the Las Vegas offense to get back on track. Start Adams as a WR1 in all formats, despite the down week.
Week 8 at New Orleans Saints
Davante Adams had eight catches for 95 yards on nine targets last week against the Texans. Adams has at least seven targets in every game this year and he’s found the end zone five times. He’s been one of the best and most consistent options in fantast this year and should continue to be the focal point of the Las Vegas pass attack.
This week, Adams has a great matchup against the Saints. New Orleans has really struggled in the secondary, and they rank 28th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Expect another busy day for Adams and we have him ranked as an elite option once again. Always start him.
Week 7 vs. Houston Texans
Davante Adams had a nice game against the Chiefs before the bye last week, catching three of seven targets for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Adams also drew a couple of big pass interference penalties and continues to be a valuable target for quarterback Derek Carr. Adams now has five touchdowns on the season and has had no problems shifting from Green Bay to Las Vegas this year.
This week, Adams faces a Texans defense that ranks 17th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. Adams is a must-start regardless of matchup, and expect him to teach promising young rookie Derek Stingley Jr. a thing or two this week. Start him, as always.
Week 5 at Kansas City Chiefs
Davante Adams had a nice game against the Broncos last week, even if it was his first outing without a touchdown this season. He finished with nine catches on 13 targets for 101 yards. Adams has 47 targets through four games and is clearly the primary option in the Raiders’ passing game.
This week, Adams faces a Chiefs defense that ranks 22nd in aFPA to opposing wide receivers. With his level of talent and the role he has in this offense, he’s a must-start every week. Expect a potential shootout between these two teams and for Adams to benefit as a result. We have him just outside our top five options at wide receiver this week.
Week 4 vs. Denver Broncos
Davante Adams was held to just 36 yards last week against the Titans, but he found the end zone for the third straight game and was targeted 10 times. Adams has 34 targets on the year and has had no trouble adjusting to life in Las Vegas, even if his yardage numbers aren’t great.
This week, Adams faces a Broncos defense that ranks seventh in aFPA to opposing receivers. It’s a tough matchup, but Adams is so good and is such a large part of the offense that he should be started regardless. We have him ranked inside our top-five receivers this week and he should be active in all leagues, as usual.
