Davante Adams Week 12 vs. Vikings
Davante Adams is becoming something of a TD-reliant player. Last week, it was two receptions for 13 yards and a score for the rookie, who now has three scores in the past six games. He's also had a couple of nice catch and yardage games in that same stretch, keeping him fantasy relevant. Use him as a low-end No. 3 fantasy receiver or a flex play this week.
Davante Adams Week 11 vs. Eagles
Davante Adams managed just one catch for 10 yards in last week's blowout of Chicago. That's always the problem with a No. 3 receiver. You just never know what you're going to get. The Packers' first-team offense should have to stay on the field for an entire game this week and Adams should be a better play this week as a low-end No. 3 option or a flex play.
Davante Adams Week 10 vs. Bears
Davante Adams has had some good value the past three weeks, including catching a season-high 7 passes for 75 yards at New Orleans. There's going to be some hit and miss with Adams because he's the No. 3 target. But he does hold some flex value this week.
Davante Adams Week 8 vs. Saints
Davante Adams scored for the second time in the past three weeks, but he also had just one reception - for 21 yards - for the second time in three weeks. There's just not enough here to make you want to roll him out there unless you're truly desperate. The Saints do offer a soft pass defense against which he is working this week.
Davante Adams Week 7 vs. Panthers
Rookie Davante Adams picked a good time to have his best game - 6-77 - last week with Jarrett Boykin set to come back. Adams has firmly established himself as Green Bay's No. 3 receiver and has a great matchup against a soft Carolina secondary this week. He's worth a shot as a flex play this week.
Davante Adams Week 6 vs. Dolphins
Davante Adams is getting more and more playing time each week. He's played nearly three out of four plays in each of the past two weeks, but that's resulted in just three catches, including one for an 11-yard TD last week. The rookie is getting there, but he's not worth playing just yet. Give it a couple of more weeks until he really gets some mojo working with Aaron Rodgers.
Davante Adams Week 5 vs. Vikings
Davante Adams had just two receptions for 18 yards last week, but did have a touchdown called back. He is still just a complimentary target for the Packers at this point, but that could change in coming weeks as Aaron Rodgers finds a comfort zone with the rookie. Use him as a flex only at this point.
Davante Adams Week 4 vs. Bears
It appears that the Packers are intent on allowing Davante Adams and Jarrett Boykin to split time at this point. That added up to just two receptions for 11 yards last week as the Packers struggled with Detroit's defense. Adams should be better this week, especially with Boykin nursing a knee injury. Keep an eye on Boykin's status. If he doesn't play, Adams could be a sneaky flex play.
Davante Adams Week 3 vs. Lions
Rookie Davante Adams had five catches for 50 yards last week and seems to be replacing Jarrett Boykin as the No. 3 receiver for the Packers. Past history tells us that's a hit-and-miss proposition. But there's a lot of upside. Adams probably shouldn't be in your starting lineup yet - unless you're looking for a flex play - but the arrow is pointing up.
Fantasy Upside
Adams will likely open as Green Bay's No. 4 receiver.
Fantasy Downside
Unless somebody else gets injured, the pecking order seems pretty set at this point.
Bottom Line
Adams is a solid receiver and Green Bay will use some four-receiver sets. But without much more than that, barring an injury, he's a fantasy FA.
