Giants could make greater use of their tempo offense

Patricia Traina

Oct 14 · 12:07 PM EDT

John Harbaugh said the Giants’ tempo package helped open up the offense against Washington and should remain part of their approach going forward, Patricia Traina reports. Harbaugh acknowledged that game flow pushed New York toward that approach during Sunday’s comeback.

Fantasy Impact:

Winston remains a superflex option with passing-volume upside against New Orleans. Nabers has WR1 upside and Likely remains a strong TE1 choice. Mooney and Fields are deeper-league options whose appeal would improve if the faster pace produces more passing opportunities. Skattebo remains the preferred backfield start; managers should avoid counting on another 54-attempt game when setting expectations for the secondary receivers.

Giants WR Malik Nabers returns to Thursday practice

Ryan Dunleavy

Oct 08 · 2:31 PM EDT

Cam Skattebo is out of the red non-contact jersey and Malik Nabers is in individual drills. Progress.

Fantasy Impact:

His return supports keeping him in lineup plans as a fringe WR1/2 while awaiting the official report and Friday’s designation.

Jaxson Dart to undergo season-ending knee surgery

Adam Schefter

Sep 23 · 12:54 PM EDT

Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart is expected to undergo knee surgery that will end his 2026 season. His ACL is intact, but the injury reportedly includes damage to his meniscus, MCL and PCL, with the meniscus considered the primary issue.

Fantasy Impact:

Winston takes over as the Giants’ starter and immediately becomes a low-end QB2/Superflex option. His aggressive style should preserve enough passing volume to keep Nabers in fantasy lineups, although the offense will likely become more volatile. Likely and New York’s secondary receivers also carry wider weekly ranges of outcomes.

Malik Nabers remains noncommittal for Week 1 despite full practice

Steve Serby

Sep 10 · 7:27 PM EDT

Nabers practiced fully Thursday but declined to confirm that he will play Sunday night against Dallas. The receiver said the Giants are leaving the decision to him and emphasized that he will not jeopardize his career if his surgically repaired knee does not feel ready.

Fantasy Impact:

Nabers’ upside makes him difficult to bench if active, but the Sunday-night kickoff creates quite the contingency problem. Likely is the safest alternative beneficiary across positions, while Fields and Mooney would receive the clearest wide receiver boosts if Nabers sits. Even if Nabers plays, the possibility of a self-imposed pitch count adds volatility to his WR2 projection.
