Good on Cannon for making his way into a backup role after toiling on the Jets roster. He has little value with Mike Davis running roughshod in place of Christian McCaffrey, but he is one injury away from considerable snaps in a featured role.
NYJ RB Trenton Cannon - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 16 vs. Green Bay Packers
With the veteran running backs out with injuries for New York, Trenton Cannon has settled in nicely into the backup running back role for the Jets. He has averaged 10 touches per game and although his numbers have not been great, the fantasy impact potential is there.
Cannon faces Green Bay who is average against the run, but since 10 touches seem to be the cap and he is getting about only 30 percent of the snaps, we don't expect his numbers to go up anytime soon. Keep him on the bench for Week 16.
