Dolphins agree to new two-year deal with RB Raheem Mostert

The Dolphins and RB Raheem Mostert agreed to terms on a new, 2-year deal worth $9.075M max, source said. One of the most productive in the NFL gets rewarded at age 31.

Fantasy Impact:

Looks like Miami will run it back with their ultra efficient two-headed monster from 2023. Mostert makes a very good selection when fantasy teams miss out on Achane.

Fantasy Impact:

Ahmed has a foot injury despite catching a touchdown against the Raiders. He also ran for a touchdown earlier in the season. Ahmed likely saw more time this past week with the team not putting Achane back in the game after a knee injury. Achane should be good to play in Week 12, a Friday contest, but it will be worth monitoring for the rest of the week. If Achane is out, Wilson could run as the RB2 behind Mostert.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert said he will play Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Just had a little ankle tweak that had him miss practice on Wednesday. He returned Thursday & Friday and is all good.

If Mostert is available for Week 8, you absolutely MUST put him in lineups. We'll keep an eye on this status through the weekend.

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, whose status is up in the air for Sunday, did not practice because of a hip injury. RB Raheem Mostert did not practice because of an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Miami's really getting ran through the wash on the injury report today. If Mostert is held out of Week 8 action, we can expect Ahmed and Wilson to split the backfield, with the latter more than likely being the majority receiving back. Wilson was eased into action in his first game off of IR, earning one target and four yards on seven routes. We should expect that to raise significantly if the Dolphins role into Sunday with only two active running backs.
