Rams RB Malcolm Brown (clavicle) to at least miss rest of regular season

The Los Angeles Rams will be without their backup running back for at least the remainder of the regular season. According to Mike Garafolo, Malcolm Brown is out for the rest of the season, though his status for the postseason is up in the air.

Fantasy Impact: 

Brown suffered a clavicle injury against the Lions and underwent a procedure on Monday to repair it. With Brown out, Kelly and Davis will need to step up. Only Davis has been active this season (eight games) but has yet to receive a single carry, the story said. It's possible if the Rams wrap things up sooner than later, Kelly and/or Davis could see some time during the fantasy playoffs, so this is a key bit of news for Gurley owners.

The Los Angeles Rams made both Justin Davis and John Kelly inactive on Sunday, dressing only two running backs against the Detroit Lions. Unfortunately, the already minimal depth was hurt in the first half as Malcolm Brown suffered a shoulder injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

Brown left the game in the second quarter and shortly after the break, he was ruled out for the rest of the game. Brown usually doesn't see a lot of work, but he's a potential, key handcuff for Gurley owners, so it's a situation to monitor for the fantasy playoffs.

Fantasy Impact: 

Kupp (knee, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 7. Reynolds (hand) took full practice reps again Friday and will play. Reynolds should get most of Kupp’s snaps, but the Rams will probably kick Robert Woods to the slot and “sacrifice” Reynolds on Richard Sherman’s side of the field. Woods and Brandin Cooks look like WR1 plays this week.
