CLE QB Joe Flacco - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. New York Jets

Joe Flacco is actually out here winning fantasy playoff matchups and may even be a league winner. He has been on a hot streak. Flacco is already up to ten touchdown passes in just four games. However, he does face the stiff Jets defense on Thursday. Flacco also could throw another interception or two. He has at least one in all four games with Cleveland, including five in the last two games. The Jets have playmakers across the defense that can get to Flacco. He’s still an interesting streaming option but understandable if you feel you have better options for your championship round.

CLE QB Joe Flacco - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Houston Texans

Joe Flacco is out here winning fantasy playoff matchups. Incredible. Back-to-back 300-yard passing games with multiple touchdowns in all three of his starts thus far. Of course, we do have to note the three interceptions last week against the Bears, but Flacco still led a rally before the Browns survived the Bears' Hail Mary attempt at the end of the game. Flacco is now a very interesting streaming option against the Texans. He's not quite a QB1 but he's inching closer to it.

CLE QB Joe Flacco - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Chicago Bears

Joe Flacco is a fantasy option in the year 2023. What a world we live in. Flacco has thrown five touchdown passes in his two starts so far for the Browns and has already built a strong connection with Amari Cooper. The Bears have been getting better on defense but Flacco is still an interesting QB2 option for Week 15. Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that Joe Flacco would be leading the charge in Cleveland and likely leading them into the playoffs?

DEN QB Joe Flacco - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Indianapolis Colts
In the embarrassing home loss to the Chiefs last Thursday, Joe Flacco was sacked a career-high eight times. The Kansas City defense stuffed the line, forcing the Denver QB to beat them, and it worked. Flacco threw for just 213 yards, with no TDs – the third time this season he’s failed to toss for a score. In the past three weeks, he’s averaging only 191 yards through the air and is now without Emmanuel Sanders. The Broncos will be at Indy on Sunday against the No. 20 pass defense, so Flacco remains a low QB2 option.

DEN QB Joe Flacco - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
In the shutout win over the Titans last Sunday, Joe Flacco’s role was more of a game manager, as Denver’s defense dominated. Flacco completed 18 passes for a season-low 177 yards, with no TDs and one INT. He has thrown for less than 200 yards in consecutive outings and it was the second time in ’19 he failed to toss for a score. Even though the Chiefs are allowing 24 points per game, Flacco has only six touchdowns in six games and should remain a QB2 option for the contest on Thursday night.

DEN QB Joe Flacco - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Tennessee Titans
With the Broncos ground game working versus the Chargers last Sunday, Joe Flacco attempted just 20 passes. He finished with 182 yards and a TD, as 70 of those yards came from a catch and run score by Courtland Sutton. Flacco has tossed for at least one touchdown in all but one contest this season and will be facing the Titans No. 10 pass defense at home this week. He remains a QB2 play.

DEN QB Joe Flacco - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Los Angeles Chargers
Without having to worry about the inactive Jalen Ramsey last week, Joe Flacco posted the best numbers he’s had with the Broncos. He had his first 300-yard and multi-TD game with the club, tossing two of his three scores to Courtland Sutton. The Jaguars controlled the clock, especially in the second half, which resulted in Denver needing to rally and calling just 15 run plays. Flacco will be on the road on Sunday in what will likely be a neutral L.A. crowd. The Chargers are allowing less than 230 passing yards so Flacco remains a QB2 option.
