The expectation is right now Texans WR Danny Amendola (hamstring) won’t be able to go on Thursday night against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact:

Amendola is the team's third WR but was more like the team's WR2 as he produced more than Collins through the first two weeks. With Amendola out, Collins and Conley could be in line to see more targets. However Davis Mills is now the starter, and the Texans aren't exactly safe plays in fantasy lineups.

Texans cut WR KeKe Coutee.

A name that has fluttered on the depth chart now officially out in Houston.

Fantasy Impact:

The release of Coutee is a bit of a surprise considering the Texans aren't necessarily loaded at the position. Outside of Cooks, a lot of playing time and targets will be up for grabs and among them should be Collins and Conley at this point.

The Houston Texans unofficial depth chart on their website lists WR Chris Conley as the second starting wide receiver, according to Aaron Wilson. Anthony Miller and and KeKe Coutee are listed second behind Conley and Brandin Cooks. Nico Collins is as a WR6.

Fantasy Impact:

This is not a surprise according to Wilson, but on a team that is unsettled at the position, it is noteworthy to see Conley as a starter. The Texans should be an avoid in all drafts as long as Deshaun Watson is not under center.
