Colts head coach Shane Steichen confirmed Sunday that quarterback Daniel Jones will start the second preseason game against the Packers and play a few series and Anthony Richardson will replace him and play the rest of the first half.
Richardson returned to practice Saturday after dislocating his pinky in Thursday’s preseason opener against the Ravens. He’ll get the “bulk of the work” Saturday according to Steichen. The Colts want to get more of a look at Richardson after the injury cut his reps short in Week 1, giving Jones more reps in the first game. Neither quarterback has separated himself from the other with less than a month before the season starts. Saturday may bring us closer to finding the answer in Indianapolis.

Buccaneers RB Rachaad White is dealing with a groin injury and will undergo further testing Sunday to determine the extent of the injury.
Bucky Irving was already a hot fantasy commodity this season and this only bolsters his outlook early on, if White does miss some time following his injury Saturday. This also opens the door for Sean Tucker, whom head coach Todd Bowles said he’d like to get the ball to more. We’ll find out more Sunday regarding how long White will be out.

Jets WR Allen Lazard was wearing a sling following Saturday’s preseason game against the Packers are suffering a right shoulder injury.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Lazard will undergo further tests to determine the severity of his injury. Lazard’s time with the Jets has been up and down but a new-look offense and a new quarterback could put a spark back in his game. For now, no Jets receiver not named Garrett Wilson offers much upside. Lazard is our second best wide receiver on that team and he is WR78 in our draft rankings.
