The Houston Texans filled their need for a fourth safety on Saturday by placing cornerback Karl Paymah on injured reserve and adding safety Torri Williams from the practice squad.

Paymah, a six-year veteran signed this season, is suffering from a wrist injury.

Williams, 6-2, 210, is an undrafted rookie from Purdue. He impressed the coaches during camp and preseason and was signed to the practice squad. He replaces Dominique Barber, who was placed on injured reserve last week after undergoing season-ending knee surgery.

The Texans also added cornerback Antwaun Molden to the injury report. He's probable with a stomach virus.
