Miami head coach Tony Sparano usually keeps his cornerbacks on the left side or right side, but he and defensive coordinator Mike Nolan said there's a chance Vontae Davis moves with New England wide receiver Randy Moss on Monday.

Sparano pointed out Davis stayed with Moss in a game last season and had an interception. But Sparano also said moving Davis depends on the defense Miami plays.

"If you're going to play a lot of zone coverage, why would you do that?" he asked. "If you're going to play some man coverage then it makes a little more sense."

By the way, Sparano said it's possible Davis is off to such a hot start this season because he benefited from practicing against wide receiver Brandon Marshall during training camp.

"I think you could say the work he got with Brandon helped the way he started," Sparano said.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis is a nice young player, but hasn't gotten to the point where he inspires fear like Darrelle Revis, Nnamdi Asomugha, or Champ Bailey. Randy Moss should put up some points on Monday night.
