Tee Higgins doubtful for Week 3

Bengals HC Zac Taylor told reporters that WR Tee Higgins (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 3 at Pittsburgh.

Fantasy Impact:

While this seems like a boost for Tyler Boyd and Ja'Marr Chase, Higgins did practice Friday after DNPs Wednesday and Thursday. Despite the doubtful tag it is important to monitor his status Sunday.

Dallas Goedert activated from reserve/COVID list, misses practice

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been activated from the reserve/COVID list but missed Thursday's practice.

Fantasy Impact:

Goedert was at practice working on the side of the field but did not participate in the actual session. He should participate in some fashion tomorrow ahead of being active for Week 7. With Zach Ertz now with the Arizona Cardinals, Goedert will finally have a monopoly on the tight end targets. He is our seventh-ranked tight end for Week 7.

Trey Lance (knee) misses another practice

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance missed another practice with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact:

The 49ers will play it safe with Lance, especially with Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) healthy enough to be a limited participant in practice. Jimmy G should get the start in Week 7, and barring injury, will likely continue to start until Lance proves he is ready to take over. Jimmy G is our 19th ranked quarterback for Week 7.

Chicago Bears running back Damien Williams missed Thursday's practice due to being in COVID-19 protocol.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams is unvaccinated and cannot be cleared until Saturday at the earliest. Fantasy managers who were relying on Williams for Week 7 should prepare a contingency option. Even if active, Williams will be in a timeshare with Khalil Herbert against one of the top run defenses in the league. Look elsewhere if possible.
