Steelers not sure if Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) will play in Week 3

Mike Macdonald says on his day-after coach's radio show on Seattle Sports Sam Darnold has a chance to practice this week, I'm hearing he's on track to practice Wednesday.

A return to practice that early in the week gives Darnold a shot at playing in Week 3. We'll likely have to wait until Wednesday and the rest of the week to see how much Darnold is doing to have a better idea of his status for Week 3. The Seahawks are at the Commanders in the early slate of games.

Mike Macdonald on Seattle Sports on Jadarian Price's injury: "It’s some technical term for somewhere up in your shoulder, but it’s intact, and nothing serious, it doesn’t seem."

Good news for Price who exited the game in Week 2 and missed out on some garbage time points to Wilson who closed things out against the Cardinals. Price seems on track to play in Week 3 but be sure to keep track of the injury report later this week.

Kyler Murray is set to return to the starting lineup.

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell told reporters in his Monday press conference that Murray has cleared concussion protocol and is on schedule to play in the team’s matchup with the Buccaneers.

“Kyler has cleared the final phase of the protocol,” O’Connell said. “He’s doing great, he’ll be cleared, and he will start this week against Tampa Bay.”

Murray went down early in the Week 1 win over the Packers when he was hit while trying to slide on a scramble. He departed that contest having completed 3-of-5 passes for 18 yards with an interception, the story said. Wentz replaced Murray for the last two weeks and was 11-of-20 for 143 yards in Sunday’s victory over the Bears. Despite leading the team to two wins, Murray will be back as the starter over Wentz, who returns to his backup role.
