Steelers Eli Rogers set for role as slot WR

Steeler WR Eli Rogers was injured for his entire rookie season, and has since earned his first chance for an expanded role as the slot receiver in the Steelers' offense. He led the team with 10 receptions for 84 yards in the preseason, the most targeted of any receiver on the team.

Fantasy Impact: 

It sounds as if Rogers will remain in the slot even with Markus Wheaton ruled out for Week 1. Sammie Coates will take Wheaton's spot on the outside, but he story said all the Steeler WRs can play both inside and outside.
