Colts HC Shane Steichen says Daniel Jones will remain the team's starting QB.
Related players: Anthony Richardson, Riley Leonard
The team doesn't appear to want to give Richardson or Leonard a look, at least right now - even though Richardson did get some mop-up time during the loss in Week 8. The Colts get the Cowboys defense this week, which could be Jones's last chance to keep his job.

Ian Rapoport reports Lamar Jackson will have thumb surgery and is out indefinitely and will likely miss the rest of the season.
Tyler Huntley also suffered a turf toe injury and will be out for the foreseeable future.
Related players: Joe Fagnano
The team has a Thursday night game meaning Fagnano will probably get the start. Jackson hurt his thumb on his first play back this week. The Ravens will need to bring in a QB or two, or even three, Rapoport said. Rapoport said some options could be Josh Johnson, Tyson Bagent or even trading for Jacoby Brissett, who was benched in Arizona. Brissett owners may just want to hold on to him through this waiver period, just in case.

Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols is undergoing additional testing for what the team is concerned is a significant foot injury.
Related players: Rachaad White, Austin Ekeler
The Commanders will likely need to bring in another back. White led the way with 13 touches against the Eagles with Ekeler getting eight and McNichols six. While it's not necessarily a three-headed monster, the Commanders seem to like the committee approach. The team hasn't been linked to any big-name RB trades before this injury so it may not be a significant name added. The team could just opt to give White and Ekeler more of the work as well. White did finish with an 11-55-1 line vs. the Eagles.
