It was easy to forget early in training camp that receiver Ryan Broyles was only eight months removed from ACL surgery. He was participating almost daily at practice, though not quite every rep.
Broyles' practice time has tapered off recently in a plan to thwart off any soreness (which he said he had last week) or setbacks. He sat out Tuesday's session.
"We're flexible with his schedule, but he's been going about two days on and one day off now," HC Jim Schwartz said.
This is not much reason for concern, as soreness is to be expected after surgery. The key is that Broyles continues to practice fully with some regularity. He's a threat to beat out Nate Burleson for WR2 duties in Detroit
