Packers extend WR Christian Watson with one-year deal

Even in the midst of rehab for his torn ACL, the Packers are rewarding WR Christian Watson with a one-year, $13.25 million contract extension, per his agent Adisa Bakari.

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter went on to say the extension ties Watson to Green Bay through the 2026 season, allows him to focus on getting healthy and not having to play this season for a new deal. Watson remains on PUP, and is expected back later this season. Even when Watson comes back, it's tough to predict what kind of fantasy value he will have with a crowded WR room.

49ers officially are signing veteran kicker Eddy Pineiro to their active roster on a one-year deal, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.

Fantasy Impact:

The Niners worked out Pineiro and he's now the official replacement for Moody. Pineiro could be on the fantasy radar this season assuming he sticks with the team. San Francisco is banged up at the moment, but could be a high-scoring team once they get back to full strength.

Commanders have 'zero concerns' about QB Jayden Daniels (wrist) Week 2

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels appeared on Monday’s injury report with a right wrist issue, but there’s no concern about his availability for Thursday’s game against the Packers.

Head coach Dan Quinn said at his Tuesday press conference that the team has “zero concerns” about Daniels’ health.

The story went on to say Quinn explained that listing Daniels as a full participant on the estimated practice report was simply about transparency, and that the rookie is on track to play without restrictions. Daniels played every snap in the Week 1 win over the Giants, going 19-of-30 for 233 yards and a touchdown while adding 68 rushing yards on 11 carries.
