McKenzie had an up-and-down season, but his 42 receptions would have tied for third in the Colts' receiving room in 2022, while his four touchdowns would have tied for the lead. The former Buffalo Bill ran 80% of his routes out of the slot, so he should be able to operate as a Parris Campbell replacement.

This shouldn't do anything to Stefon Diggs' production at all, but the call-up could affect Gabe Davis and Isaiah McKenzie's floors, which were already wavering. Beasley has seen 24 snaps in the 2022 season, converting his lone Week 15 target into nine yards.

A reunion in Buffalo: WR Cole Beasley is coming out of retirement and expected to sign with the Bills’ practice squad, sources say.

After a brief stint with the Buccaneers earlier this season, Beasley returns to Orchard Park to provide Josh Allen with another trusted target, the tweet said. It's hard to imagine Beasley having a huge role in the offense, let a lone a lot of fantasy production, and he's most likely an insurance policy for injuries at this point.

WR Isaiah McKenzie has cleared concussion protocol and is good to go.

McKenzie was limited last week but couldn't clear protocol. With Jamison Crowder on IR, McKenzie was expected to see an increase in work upon his return. However, he'll still run behind Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs.

Jamison Crowder is out with a broken ankle and Gabe Davis has also been banged up this year, but doesn't appear on the limited list. With Crowder out, McKenzie should see an uptick in snaps assuming he can back on the field for Week 5. The Bills have an early home game against the Steelers.

Josh Allen has been spreading the ball around expertly so far in 2022, much to the chagrin of Stefon Diggs drafters. The news is awful for Crowder, who may miss the rest of the season. A slight uptick in usage could be in store for McKenzie, Shakir, or possibly, TE Dawson Knox.

Davis injured his ankle leading up to Week 2 and didn't play on Monday might. It wasn't necessarily great news for McKenzie as there seemed to be a mix of McKenzie, Crowder, Shakir and Kumerow in what ended up being a blowout victory for Buffalo. It's a good sign for Week 3 Davis is at least logging some limited time Wednesday. The Bills do play an early Sunday game at Miami.

By Joe Buscaglia's count, Gabriel Davis missed only two snaps in the regular season kickoff, one of which was the kneel down to end the game. "Expect his snap counts to stay around a similar level all season.

With Stefon Diggs taking a step back in snaps counts —and still performing admirably with his 8-122-1 line— it left more room in the rotation for Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and Jamison Crowder, who were utilized in that order. McKenzie and Crowder are likely to continue rotating, while Davis looks like he will be on the field as much, or even more than Diggs.
