Jacobs has a sore, swollen knee

Jeremiyah Love has missed the past two games with a sprained left ankle, but the Cardinals running back is close to returning.

“Jeremiyah will be out there at practice on Wednesday, so we’ll see how the week goes,” coach Mike LaFleur said Monday, via video from PHNX_Cardinals.

Love looks to get back on the field for Week 8. With Love out, Knight has looked like the better back splitting work with Allgeier, so this will be a situation to watch heading into next week, especially if Love is able to return.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey has a mild hamstring strain, per Kyle Shanahan.

The 49ers have a bye in Week 8 which comes at a great team. The post went on to say the team believes he will be fine coming out of the bye. “We’re pretty optimistic,” Shanahan said, according to the post. CMC owners may want to spend the bye week trying to deal for Black as a handcuff for down the stretch.

Saquon Barkley is active tonight.
