Giants HC Ben McAdoo could give up play calling

Ben McAdoo didn't say yes, but he didn't say no either.

The Giants' coach was non-committal as usual, but sounded closer than ever to yielding play calling duties during his day-after conference call following Monday's ugly 24-10 loss to the Lions.

McAdoo has been adamant about his dual role as head coach and play caller ever since he took the job.

If McAdoo were to give up play calling duties ahead of Sunday's critical road game at the Eagles, they would likely be assumed by offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan, who last called plays in 2013 while serving in the same role with Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

It was another bad offensive outing for the Giants. In fact, it was their eighth-straight game scoring fewer than 20 points.
