The Eagles are bringing back a familiar face to fill the empty roster spot left open after running back Darren Sproles suffering a season-ending injury this past Sunday.
One day after placing Sproles on season-ending IR with a torn Achilles, the Eagles have announced the signing of running back Kenjon Barner, who they worked out on Tuesday.

The story said it's not clear how much Barner will play on offense. He is familiar with the system so if he's active he could potentially cut into Smallwood's workload, which was getting a lot of hype so far this week, on passing downs.
