Jaguars WR is questionable to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.

The Jaguars pass offense was lost without Chark in Week 5. His potential absence would make the Jaguars offense nearly impossible to stomach playing against an improved Lions secondary.

Jacksonville Jaguars star wide receiver D.J. Chark missed Thursday's practice with an ankle injury.

Chark is laboring through the ankle injury and appears to be in danger of missing Week 6. He will likely need to return to practice on Friday to have a shot at playing against the Lions. Chark is currently our 17th ranked wide receiver for Week 6. If he cannot go, Laviska Shenault and Keelan Cole will operate as the top two receivers with Chris Conley and Collin Johnson rotating.

Chark injured his ankle late in the game Sunday and never returned. Missing Wednesday's practice is an ominous sign for his Week 6 availability. If Chark misses this week's game, Keelan Cole and Laviska Shenault should see additional opportunities and would have a nice matchup against a weak Detroit defense.

Chark understandably missed last Thursday's game on a short week and returns in time for a juicy matchup against the Bengals secondary. Fire him up as a WR2.

Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said that he is "comfortable" with D.J. Chark Jr. playing this Sunday, according to Ashlyn Sullivan of Jaguars.com.

Chark is the straw that stirs the drink for the Jaguars offense, and his return is in time for a juicy matchup against a poor Bengals defense.
