Breece Hall to miss Wednesday practice; Week 7 return still possible

Tyler Huntley and Joe Fagnano are the only Ravens quarterbacks out here for the start of practice.

Lamar Jackson (ankle) hasn’t practiced since Oct. 4.

Related Players: Zay Flowers, Ja'Kobi Lane, Devontez Walker, Rashod Bateman, LaJohntay Wester, Mark Andrews, Josh Cuevas, Derrick Henry, Justice Hill

Jackson managers should retain a replacement until his availability is confirmed. Huntley would be a superflex QB2 if Jackson misses another game. Flowers remains a WR2 option with either quarterback, although Jackson’s return would improve his ceiling.

Related Players: Malik Nabers, Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, Charlie Jones, Isaiah Likely, Thomas Fidone II, Chris Manhertz, Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary, Cam Skattebo

McCarthy becomes a starting option for managers short on quarterbacks in superflex leagues, but the Houston matchup makes him difficult to trust in one-quarterback formats. Nabers remains a WR2 with upside, while Likely belongs in TE1 lineups.

Mike Garafolo reports Baker Mayfield must show Tampa Bay he can grip and throw the football as he attempts to return from his thumb injury. The issue is functionality rather than pain tolerance. Garafolo said the Buccaneers were still expecting Jalon Daniels to start as recently as Monday; Mayfield’s availability against Carolina remains unsettled.

Related Players: Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Ted Hurst, Tez Johnson, Kameron Johnson, Cade Otton, Bucky Irving, Kenneth Gainwell

Keep Daniels available in superflex leagues until Tampa Bay confirms its starter. If Mayfield remains out, Daniels’ rushing gives him QB2 appeal, while Egbuka is a WR3 and Godwin a more volatile PPR FLEX. Otton remains a TE2 option. A healthy Mayfield return would improve the passing game’s outlook, but managers should wait for confirmation that he can throw effectively before counting on that upgrade.
