Antonio Brown heading to the Patriots

Antonio Brown has agreed to terms with the Patriots, per Drew Rosenhaus.

Here’s the deal, per Antonio Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus: It is a one-year contract worth up to $15 million that includes a $9 million signing bonus.

Fantasy Impact:

That did not take long at all. And it was already becoming the expected move after his release from the Raiders. Bill Belichick has a history of working with players and being able to straighten them out, or at least attempt to. And Brown has to be thrilled that he now gets to catch passes from Tom Brady instead of Derek Carr. He may take some time to get fully acclimated, but the talent will still push him over the top, especially now in New England.

He cannot play Week 1 because he wasn't on the roster by 4:00 pm, so get him out of your lineup for this week, but fire him up for Week 2. Josh Gordon also will likely have less pressure on him with Brown on the field and Brady’s chances of rising up the fantasy ranks just increased tremendously. New England now will have one of the must-see offenses in the league with the talent and storylines surrounding it alone.
