Peterson gained 1,250 yards on 271 touches in his age 33 season, but his ADP is in the double-digit rounds thanks to the return of Derrius Guice, who is expected to be the running back of the future in Washington. The main problem for Guice fans is that his balky knee has required three additional surgeries due to infection and he was already dealing with a hamstring injury in camp. Washington signed Peterson to a two-year deal, but only $1.5 million is guaranteed, so they can move on if necessary. For now, I think Peterson will continue to start until it’s obvious that Guice is ready to take over.
