Dallas Goedert (calf) now out for rest of preseason, expected back for Week 1

Updating an earlier post, Eagles TE Dallas Goedert will now miss the rest of the preseason while recovering from a calf injury suffered in Thursday's preseason opener against the Titans, as reported by Rueben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Fantasy Impact:

The Eagles are likely simply being extra cautious with their young tight end and just want him to be fully healthy for the regular-season opener against the Redskins. Goedert caught three passes for 50 yards against the Titans and showed a glimpse of being much more implemented in the offense this season. Goedert is currently our No. 23 tight end in PPR formats with a 14th-round ADP, still making him an excellent late-round streaming target.

Fantasy Impact:

We haven't seen specifics yet, but this could be as little of a role as a camp body. This has no effect on Kamara's workload and would make him an even easier grab if his ADP somehow drops further because of this.

Broncos sign RB J.K. Dobbins to one-year deal

The Denver Broncos have agreed to a deal with running back J.K. Dobbins, adding another backfield option to a rotation that will be a work in progress as they move through training camp and into the regular season.

Fantasy Impact:

This could (hopefully) be a sign that the committee might be majorly led by Harvey/Dobbins, but we'll still see McLaughlin likely mixing in from time to time, and Estime could still handle a good amount of the goal-line work. Regardless, this is a situation to target on an offense that should continue to grow. Harvey should remain our top priority, but Dobbins is still intriguing, even if it feels doubtful that he makes it through a full healthy season.

Still no timetable for return for Colts QB Anthony Richardson

Colts HC Shane Steichen says Anthony Richardson (shoulder) still has no timetable for return. He went out to LA to visit Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the doctor who performed his AC joint surgery, to have his AC joint rechecked.

Fantasy Impact:

Things continue to trend in a terrible direction for Richardson. The narrative has always been that the young QB needs more reps, whether that's in practice or real games, and he's had multiple issues delivering. The starting job could very (very) well be Daniel Jones' in Week 1, and the market has moved toward him starting far more games than Richardson in 2025.
