Week 9 Good Vibes, Bad Vibes (Who Should I Start)

The spooky vibe season is nearing the end, as we only have a few days until Halloween. It’s probably a good thing, too, as I have watched so many horror movies over the last few weeks that it’s affecting the way I look at people when I’m out in public, ready for them to wield a chainsaw or come at me with an axe in a creepy mask.

We do still have a few more days, so I’ll likely catch a few more, and of course, eat some Halloween candy while I give out some players with good and bad vibes for Week 9.

Good Vibes

Quarterbacks

Kyler Murray @ Cowboys

He’s missed the last two contests, then got an extra week off due to the Cardinals bye, and Kyler Murray returns (hopefully) to a juicy matchup against a Cowboys defense that sits dead last in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs in 2025. He’s giving top-10 vibes for Monday night’s contest.

Joe Flacco vs. Bears

He’s the QB7 since joining the Bengals, and Joe Flacco should keep things moving this week at home against Chicago. The Bears defense, ranked 29th in QB aFPA, has allowed three QBs to eclipse 21 fantasy points this season, including Jared Goff’s 34.0 in Week 2. Consider him a fringe QB1 on Sunday.
