Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 9: Ya Gotta Love It
We’re past the midpoint of the fantasy season, and the tight end streaming pool somehow keeps getting thinner. With 21 tight ends rostered in over 40% of leagues, the remaining options demand a deeper look at usage and matchup data rather than name value. Fortunately, a few emerging players like Colston Loveland and Theo Johnson are carving out consistent roles just as the bye weeks are hitting the hardest.
By this point in the year, fantasy managers should lean more heavily on data and matchups, and 4for4’s schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) remains the best barometer for identifying favorable spots. With seven weeks of results now baked into the model, we can trust the numbers more than ever when deciding which defenses to target.

Week 8 Recap
If that pesky Travis Kelce MNF performances hadn’t pushed him up to the TE2 on the week, all five of our plays would have finished in the top-24, with two top-six finishes. Regardless, it was a great week all around, and we sadly have another graduation to announce: Oronde Gadsden. The rookie has been on an insane run, averaging 16.8 half-PPR points over the last three games, and is very unlikely to be available for our streaming purposes over the remainder of the season.
Top Plays
- Oronde Gadsden - 16.2 Half-PPR points (TE4)
- Mason Taylor - 11.9 points (TE7)
Deep Plays
- Theo Johnson - 3.5 points (TE25)
- Chigoziem Okonkwo - 7.3 points (TE13)
- Noah Fant - 5.6 points (TE19)
