Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 8: Joe Flacco Could Shine Again

Week 7 brought plenty of gaudy stat lines for quarterbacks. There were four quarterbacks who threw for at least 310 yards, which included Justin Herbert racking up 420 yards. There were also eight quarterbacks who recorded at least three touchdown passes. That group was led by Matthew Stafford, who finished with five scores through the air.

After there were only two teams on a bye last week, there will be six teams sidelined during Week 8. Among the top quarterbacks who have the week off are Stafford and Jared Goff. That could leave several fantasy managers looking for a streaming replacement.

Week 7 Recap

It was a big week for the column with three of the four streaming recommendations finishing inside the top-10 at the position. The best performance among the group came from Jaxson Dart, who had four total touchdowns on his way to finishing as QB2. Dart is not eligible for this column for Week 8 as he is now rostered in 42% of Yahoo leagues.

Sam Darnold was the lone disappointment of the week as he threw for 213 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Texans. He completed just 54.8% of his pass attempts, which was his lowest mark of the season. The Seahawks have a bye in Week 8, then Darnold will look to get back on track and improve on the team’s 5-2 record.
