7 Bounce-Back Fantasy Football Players to Target in 2025

Taking advantage of your league mates' recency bias is a perennial tradition in the fantasy football world and one I can always get behind. We’re all guilty of associating one bad season with the next regardless of the cause surrounding a player’s dip in production.

Players can underperform for many reasons, including injury, poor system fit, off-the-field issues, or even an early-season fumble derailing usage. Unless it’s a huge name like Christian McCaffrey, a “bust” player’s draft stock typically takes a hit, allowing us to grab them with some built-in capital. Chasing the upside on these guys with depressed ADPs can have league-winning ramifications, so here’s a look at some bounce-back candidates for the 2025 season.

Quarterbacks

Dak Prescott, Cowboys ( ADP: QB12, 94)

After a QB4 performance in fantasy points per game in 2023, Dak Prescott only played eight games due to injury last season and ended as the QB32 overall, QB26 on a per-game basis. Prescott is now healthy and has one of the better WR2s in the NFL in George Pickens. The Cowboys had the third-most pass attempts in the league last season, and with former OC Brian Schottenheimer now the HC, we should expect more of the same, especially given that the RB room isn't the strongest.

While he doesn't have super sexy rushing upside, Prescott has the arm and weaponry between CeeDee Lamb, Pickens, Jake Ferguson, Jalen Tolbert, and even Kavontae Turpin to put up top 10 numbers in 2025.
