2024 Available Carries Tracker
Finding available opportunities year-to-year is an inexact science, but it stands to reason that teams that lost a good chunk of their production through free agency, retirement, etc., are going to look to fill that void prior to the season kicking off. One need look no further than 2023, when teams who were dealing with this issue (Lions, Bears, Buccaneers) looked toward the NFL Draft to plug those holes (Jahmyr Gibbs, Roschon Johnson, Sean Tucker), with varying degrees of fantasy success following close behind.

Below is a sortable list of all 32 NFL teams’ carries, percentage of carries, opportunities (carries-plus-targets), rate of opportunities, and carries from within the five-yard line vacated from last season’s production. This chart will be updated as we climb through the 2024 off-season, with tags/releases/re-signings to give us a view of exactly which pass-catching units are going to need more bodies.
