Week 12 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets

I can't believe we're headed into Thanksgiving week. It feels like yesterday we were discussing Trevon Diggs being overvalued and gushing over Cody Barton's full-time role. I hope everyone is able to enjoy the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and I thank you all for reading and following every week.

We have a reprieve from a bye week, so all 32 teams will be on the field this week. Injuries and poor play never go on bye. Let's get ready for Week 12, so here are the targets from your IDP waiver wire as we head into the week.

Linebacker

Ju’Whaun Bentley, LB, New England Patriots

Well, we’re at the point of the season where I’m writing up Ju’Whaun Bentley. Any time you think a New England player has an established role, it’s snapped out of existence. I truly believe Bill Belichick has subscriptions to all of these sites, and as soon as he gets word of his players getting written, he does a 180. In the words of Rowdy Roddy Piper, just when you think you have the answers, he changes the question.

Over the last two weeks, Bentley has been on the field for an average of 83% of the snaps and has had a 70% usage rate or higher in three of the last four.

In Bentley’s last four games, he’s producing a 16.6% tackle rate and 0.32 fantasy points per snap. In Week 11, PFF graded him as their second-best run defender, and with a matchup against Dalvin Cook and the Vikings, I think they’re going to need him on the field. He’s great at moving downhill and taking on contact.
