Connor Allen: 4 Week 14 Player Props I'm Betting

As the legalization of sports betting continues to explode, more and more people are diving into a new way of speculating on sports. For those just starting off, I broke down some of the basics in my gambling 101 piece. Among every category of bets, player props remain the most beatable in the long run. Last year, I hit 59% of my bets for +35 units on the season. The two years prior were much of the same, hitting 57% and 58%, respectively, of my player props for profitable seasons. Week 13 Recap: *DJ Khaled voice* Anotha one. I ripped off my 10th straight profitable week of prop bets and am up 28.71 units on the season. My week wasn’t just a straight path forward, though. It was a roller coaster. Deonte Harris had one catch for nine yards at half, and in a very tilting fashion, he caught a 70-yard touchdown on the Saints' last offensive play. We started off the week in a bit of a hole after that debacle but ripped off nine winners with just three losers on Sunday. We then proceeded to give some of those winnings back with Matt Breida fumbling on his first carry of the game and seeing one more the rest of the way. Sometimes it just wasn't meant to be.
