FanDuel Week 9 Cash Game Picks and Strategy

In this space each week will be the top cash plays on FanDuel with strategies on how to build a profitable cash lineup. The backbone of 4for4’s cash game approach is our proprietary value metric, which goes beyond simple point per dollar projections. That value calculation extends to a player’s odds of hitting cash game value based on their implied volatility according to their floor, median and ceiling projections.

Quarterbacks

Six games on this week’s main slate have a projected total of at least 50 but of those games, the one with the smallest spread is Raiders at Chargers. With Los Angeles as a slight favorite in this potential shootout, Justin Herbert ($7,900) tops the quarterback value report. Few quarterbacks have been as efficient as the Chargers’ rookie, who is averaging the sixth-most fantasy points per pass attempt. His upside gets a boost from the fact that LA runs their offense at the third-highest rate in neutral game script. While both the Chargers and Raiders prefer to run the ball first, offenses have attacked each of these defenses through the air. Las Vegas has faced a 58.1% passing rate in neutral game script, the 12th-highest mark among defenses, while the Chargers face the ninth-highest passing rate in one-score games.
