DraftKings Week 16 GPP Breakdown
With Ezekiel Elliott, LeVeon Bell, Odell Beckham, and Antonio Brown all absent from the main slate and likely a large percentage of ownership focused on the Saints passing game, LeSean McCoy, and maybe even Todd Gurley (*shudder*), Week 16 is shaping up as an especially good week to go contrarian, especially at the volatile WR, TE, and D/ST positions. For a great discussion on how to land on contrarian plays, check out the DFS theory segment on the latest DFS MVP podcast (begins at 46:47) as well as the intro to this week's Raybon's Review.

QB
Blake Bortles $5,000 vs. HOU
Bortles has the best possible QB aFPA matchup and unlike the past five weeks, so do his receivers -- the Titans are also dead last in WR aFPA and 22nd in TE aFPA. Bortles threw for a season-high 337 yards and three TDs the last time these teams met. He makes a nice pivot off Matt Barkley at this price point.
Jared Goff $5,000 vs. SF
There are a lot of unknowns with Goff, a rookie QB now playing with a new head coach. What we do know is Goff is a home favorite against a 49ers defense ranked 30th in QB aFPA, has already had a three-TD game. He makes for an excellent leverage play off Todd Gurley, who will likely be in 10 times as many lineups, and can be used as a pivot off Matt Barkley, who is projected to be a lot higher owned at the same price.
Matt Barkley $5,000 vs. WAS
I expect Barkley to be the most highly owned of the min-priced QBs by far, but that doesn't necessarily make him a bad play. He's already had two 300-yard, multi-TD games in four starts and will face a Redskins defense ranked 31st in QB aFPA.
