Week 17 at Denver Broncos
Tyreek Hill had another strong outing last week, finishing with 109 yards on 6 catches. He's now averaging 114 yards in his last four games, scoring 3 touchdowns in that span.
However, there's a strong chance Hill plays limited time this week, making him a risky fantasy start. He's also facing a very tough Broncos defense, who he struggled against (2-38) earlier in the season. Due to the circumstances, Hill should only be viewed as a WR3 this week.
Week 16 vs. Miami Dolphins
Tyreek Hill had another big game last week, finishing with 88 yards and a touchdown on 5 catches (6 targets). He now has at least 5 catches in nine of his 14 games this season, making the speedster a sneaky PPR threat. He also went over 1,000 yards last week, joining just six other WRs to hit that mark this season.
He gets a decent matchup this week against the Dolphins, as he looks to build on his strong 2017 sophomore season. Hill's ceiling is as high as any wideout with his big-play ability, and he's proven this year he has a pretty high floor as well. Hill should be viewed as a low-end WR1 against Miami.
Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Tyreek Hill finished with 75 yards on 4 receptions last week—another solid outing for the Chiefs wideout. He's now finished with at least 60 yards in eight of his 13 games this season, while scoring 6 touchdowns.
He gets a decent matchup this week against the Chargers, a team he played well against earlier in the year. In that game, he finished with 77 yards and a touchdown. If he can do that again he'd be well worth a start. Owners should view him as a low-end WR1 or strong WR2 this week.
Week 14 vs. Oakland Raiders
Tyreek Hill exploded last week for a season-high 185 yards, along with 2 touchdowns, highlighted by a 79-yard play. He also finished with 6 receptions (on a team-high 9 targets), making it three games in a row with at least 6 catches.
Hill gets a decent matchup this week against the Raiders, and he'll continue to be a high-ceiling player. Hill can be frustrating at times, with five games below 45 receiving yards, but he's a threat to score on every single play due to his speed.
Hill should be viewed as a low-end WR1 this week.
Week 13 at New York Jets
Tyreek Hill hasn't made many big plays lately, but he's moving up in PPR formats. He now has back-to-back games with 7 receptions, although standard league owners would probably like to see more yards out of him.
He has a chance at a bounce back game this week in a decent matchup against the Jets. We don't expect his 7-reception trend to continue, but he can be viewed as a solid WR2 in both standard and PPR formats.
Week 12 vs. Buffalo Bills
Tyreek Hill had an unusual game last week as he caught 7-of-7 targets for 68 yards, but he didn't score a touchdown. It's only the second time this season he's caught 7 or more passes in a game, and usually when he touches the ball that much he makes at least one big play.
Hill has been somewhat inconsistent this season, but he's lessened that sporadic play in his last four outings. He'll look to make a big play this week against Buffalo in a somewhat decent matchup. Hill continues to be a high-ceiling WR1 against the Bills.
Week 11 at New York Giants
Tyreek Hill only had 2 receptions the last time he played, but one of those catches went 56 yards for a touchdown. He also had 4 carries for 9 yards. Hill is averaging 72 scrimmage yards per game, but he's only actually reached that number three times this season. He's been hot-and-cold this season, which can make it frustrating as a fantasy owner.
We expect him to have a positive game this week as he gets a favorable matchup against the Giants, who are giving up 12.8 yards per catch, fourth-highest in the league. New York has also given up nine plays of 40 or more yards (fourth-highest), which means there's a good chance Hill can get behind the defense for a big play.
Hill should be viewed as a low-end WR1 or strong WR2 this week.
Week 9 at Dallas Cowboys
Tyreek Hill struggled against the Broncos' tough secondary last week as he came away with just 2 receptions (on 6 targets) for 38 yards. He also threw an interception on a laughable trick play. He's now been held under 45 receiving yards in half of his games this season, and he hasn't scored in those games, either.
Hill finished strong last season, but this year he's been pretty boom-or-bust. He has a better chance of going off this week in a favorable matchup against the Cowboys. Although Dallas typically hasn't allowed many big plays this season through the passing game.
Hill will continue to be a somewhat risky play, but his high-ceiling makes him a low-end WR1 play against Dallas.
Week 8 vs. Denver Broncos
As we predicted, Tyreek Hill was able to take advantage of the Raiders' defense last week and exploded for 125 yards on 6 catches, highlighted by a 64-yard touchdown. This was Hill's best performance since Week 1 of the season, his only other 100-yard game.
Hill is a talented player, but he's shown an extreme case of being boom-or-bust this year. This week he gets a tough matchup against the Broncos, although he did have success against them last year, scoring 4 touchdowns (1 rec., 1 ret., 2 rush) in two matchups.
Hill is a player with a high ceiling and a low floor, but he can still be viewed as a low-end WR1 this week.
Week 7 at Oakland Raiders
Tyreek Hill had another rough outing last week, catching just 5 passes for 34 yards. He’s now been held to under 50 yards in half of his games this season. Part of his poor performance was just due to the fact he played in a difficult matchup last week.
Things should be a bit easier this week against Oakland. The Raiders are allowing 8.0 yards per pass attempt, which is fourth-worst in the league. They’ve also allowed 19 pass plays over 20 yards, which ties for seventh in the league. This is all important due to Hill’s big-play nature.
Hill will continue to be a high-risk, high-reward player this week, but he has a better chance of a big game due to the matchup. He should be viewed as a strong WR2.
