Bruce Arians says RB Ronald Jones will start against Atlanta.

Fantasy Impact: 

Jones' fumble cost him in Week 1 and Fournette took over much of the work after that with an occasional appearance from Bernard. While the matchup is good one against the Falcons, Jones is a bit of a risky play because Fournette and Bernard will likely still have some role, but it looks like the team is giving Jones another shot.

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians was asked by reporters about RB Giovani Bernard getting involved late in the game. "He's our third-down back and our two-minute back," Arians said.

Fantasy Impact: 

This may not be surprising but Bernard is locked in for majority of passing-game work. It was unknown how much of a role Jones or Fournette would have in the same situations, and apparently that is none. It is difficult to plug Bernard into season-long lineups but this news helps when deciphering the other two when another option on your fantasy team is appealing.

Ronald Jones to have pin removed from left pinky

#GoBucs RB Ronald Jones will have a pin removed from his broken left pinky finger on Tuesday. He had the surgery to repair it in mid-December and managed to play through the injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

After surgery in mid-December, Ronald Jones played through the injury as Tampa Bay's RB2 behind Leonard Fournette. The 23-year old is likely to be the Bucs' lead back entering the 2021 season.

Rojo is back practicing today after missing last week with a quad injury. He still has a brace on his thumb.

Fantasy Impact: 

It's not clear if Ronald Jones was limited or full in practice, but we'll know more from the Bucs injury report this afternoon. If he's good to go this week against New Orleans, Rojo will assume the lead-back role, otherwise, it's Leonard Fournette who will get the nod.
