Plaxico Burress

Friday night former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress sat and chatted with head coach Tom Coughlin as both sides felt each other out about a possible reunion. That sit-down was followed by two short meetings: one with general manager Jerry Reese and one with team president John Mara.

“We’ll see what comes out of this," Reese said. "We don’t bring people in for the fun of it. We bring people in to investigate into the possibility for the New York Giants. We think it’s probably a possibility and we’ll see where it goes."
