Pete Carroll said on @710ESPN Seattle just now that he thinks Marshawn Lynch is ready to handle more of a workload now that he has two games under his belt.
Travis Homer led the Seattle backfield against the Eagles on Sunday, playing on 44 of 64 offensive snaps. It looks like with some reps behind him, Marshawn Lynch could be someone to potentially roster in DFS for the divisional round in Green Bay. The Packers ended the regular season ranked 14th in RB aFPA.
Lynch's contract is for this season only - Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers and the postseason, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The team signed Turbin earlier on Monday. From a fantasy perspective, Homer should get most of the work in this committee as both Lynch and Turbin are stepping into a tough Week 17 matchup vs. the 49ers.
The team is also scheduled to work out Turbin. Right now, Homer is the lone healthy back on the team and should get a chance to carry the load, but it's in a tough Week 17 matchup against the 49ers. The word is the Seahawks plan to sign two RBs and it's likely they jump right into playing time.
