Packers TE Jermichael Finley said he was able to finish Friday’s practice and has no doubt that the toe injury he suffered against San Francisco last Sunday has healed enough to play.
He also confessed that he didn’t realize how debilitating a toe injury really can be.
“I feel great. The lights (are) on, right? I’ll be out there, for sure,” Finley said. “It’s a tad bit painful. We’ve got 48 hours to play the game, so there’s a lot going to be done (until) then. I feel great. I’ve got a big pain tolerance. So I’ll be out there, I’ll be fine. I’ve been playing football forever. You get in the league, they try to make things bigger than it is. It’s a toe injury. I’ll be out there."
We still rank Finley eighth among TEs this week in what in what in a pretty good match against Washington.
