NFL rejects Harvin's contract

The five-year contract of Vikings top draft pick Percy Harvin has been disapproved by the NFL.

The issue, however, is not expected to keep Harvin off the practice field.

Typically, the violation relates to the way a team and agent structure the money of a deal, or language that violates the collective bargaining agreement.

Rob Brzezinski, the Vikings' vice president of football operations, and Joel Segal, Harvin's agent, will have time to resolve the matter.
