Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy to get MRI on hand

The league will review the incident with DK Metcalf and a Detroit Lion fan from Week 15's game.

CBS had a clip of Metcalf seemingly wandering over to the stands, grabbing a Lions fan and apparently taking a swing or swipe. Rapoport said a ruling could come Monday night. The fan said Metcalf got mad because he called Metcalf by his full name, and not DK, according to the video. It's very possible Metcalf could be looking at a suspension, which could possibly leave his fantasy owners without him for the finals in Week 17. We'll update as we find out more about this strange incident.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a bruise to his back late in the second quarter of Baltimore’s 28-24 loss to New England, head coach John Harbaugh told reporters in his postgame press conference.

It’s unclear how that will affect Jackson’s availability going forward, the story said. Harbaugh was quoted as saying it may take a couple of days to find out his status, and Jackson got kneed to the back. The story did add that Jackson was not in a position to play in the second half.

Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant suffered a scary injury on Sunday on which he stayed down for several minutes, was taken off the field on a stretcher, and put directly on an ambulance. But the news on Bryant Monday morning is good.

Bryant was released from the hospital within hours, according to multiple reports.

The story went on to say that although Bryant was diagnosed with a concussion, he cleared all other testing and does not have a neck or spinal injury, which was an initial concern given his posture when he was knocked to the ground.
