Denver Post: Broncos RB Peyton Hillis strained his right hamstring
after making an acrobatic catch on a high pass from Jay Cutler in
the 2nd quarter. Trainers helped him walk slowly off the field,
and he did not return to the game. Shanahan said he has seen
similar injuries take a month to heal, but had no specific
timetable for when Hillis would be able to return. Hillis was
walking without assistance in the locker room and said his
hamstring felt "tight." "I don't think it's a bad injury at all. I
just have to get the treatment and get ready," Hillis said. "It's
one of those things you have to play through. We just want to make
sure everything's OK."
