The New York Giants lost a key player when tight end Kevin Boss agreed to join the Oakland Raiders on Friday.

Boss reached an agreement on a four-year, $16 million deal, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The Raiders were looking for a tight end after losing Zach Miller to the Seahawks. The Raiders expect to complete the signing later Friday.

Boss' asking price was clearly too high for the Giants, who have been trying to re-sign him and wide receiver Steve Smith.

Fantasy Impact:

There is a lot of depth at TE this year and Boss joins Heath Miller and Ben Watson as a low-end TE2.
