It appears Chad Henne will get a second chance to make a favorable impression as the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins.

Miami head coach Tony Sparano is leaning toward starting Henne against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Henne, who is recovering from a left knee injury he suffered on Nov. 14 in the 29-17 win over Tennessee, has been medically cleared to play.

Henne, who was demoted and replaced by Chad Pennington for the Tennessee game, will likely start his 22nd NFL game unless he suffers a medical setback before Sunday's 4 p.m. kickoff, or Sparano's confidence in the offensive line's ability to protect him diminishes.

Henne, who has an 11-10 career record as a starter, has completed 63.9 percent of his passes this season, throwing for 2,140 yards with nine touchdowns and 11 interceptions. This week he practiced on a limited basis because of his knee injury, which involves an unstable knee cap.
