Titans rookie Derrick Morgan did not have the kind of training camp debut he envisioned on Sunday.

Signed late Saturday night, the first-round selection took the field with teammates Sunday afternoon at Baptist Park. But Morgan re-aggravated a calf injury early in practice and didn’t participate in any of the team drills.

Coach Jeff Fisher said the team had considered putting Morgan on the physically unable to perform list prior to today, but didn’t think it would be a necessity. Fisher didn’t seem to think the injury was too severe.

Morgan, one of the nation’s top pass-rushers last season at Georgia Tech, missed almost all of the team’s offseason work because of calf and hamstring injuries.
